Learn More About our Treatment Process

  • Pediatric Gross Motor Development

Your child will receive a comprehensive one on one evaluation in which his/her developmental skills will be assessed via standardized tests and objective measures. We will establish baseline data so that we can track your child’s progress. Follow up treatment sessions are either one on one or in a group setting with same aged peers with similar delays. We utilize equipment such as a tumble track trampoline mat, balance beams, playground balls, stairs, and obstacle course equipment to best treat your child. Progress sessions are conducted as needed to mark your child’s improvement. Home programs are provided to work on your child’s skills when they are no longer in session.

  • Scoliosis, Kyphosis, and other Postural Abnormalities

Patients receive a one on one evaluation in which his/her curvature is assessed, strength and range of motion are determined, and posture is analyzed. The premises of the leading treatment methods for scoliosis/kyphosis are explained and a curve specific treatment program is designed. A home program complete with life changes and daily exercises are provided. All equipment necessary is available to purchase. Patients come back for individual treatment sessions, until they feel proficient in exercise performance. Patients can then opt to continue treatment individually or in a group session format. Both individual and group sessions work to continue to decrease their curvature, improve strength and range of motion abilities. Progress sessions are conducted as needed.

  • Women’s Health and Wellness/ Pelvic Floor

Patients receive a one on one evaluation in which your specific concerns are discussed and addressed. An individualized treatment program is designed to best match your needs. Follow up treatment sessions are one on one, and include external and internal vaginal/rectal myofascial release, pelvic floor and core strengthening, and/or techniques to improve toileting, leakage/seepage, and sexual function. Specialized home programs are designed and emailed, including handouts and videos to explain stretching routines and exercise progressions. Group strengthening sessions are available. Progress sessions are conducted as needed.
